On Second Thought creates one of a kind painted furniture and accessories. I am picky about what I purchase to upcycle, looking for tons of character and personality. I love architecture and look for the beauty in design, history and just that plain old wow factor. I like to compare a good piece of furniture to your favorite little black dress - if the foundation is fabulous you can dress it up or down and will always look like a million bucks!
On Second Thought, why not! My true calling has always been painting - furniture, walls, accessories - you name it and I have probably painted it. Designing, reimagining, and repurposing vintage or outdated furniture is my passion. I love seeing the beauty in a piece that just needs a little love and imagination.
Paint, patterns and texture are just some of the tools I use to enhance. Once I get a feeling of what the piece needs, the fun begins! I pour all of my heart and soul into each project to hopefully create something so amazing it will forever be cherished in its new home.
